About our Services
An Energy Performance Certificate is now needed when selling or renting a property. We provide Energy Performance Certificates for domestic properties.
We accept work from Estate Agents, Solicitors and Homeowners. Being Brighouse based we mainly cover the Calderdale, Kirklees and Bradford areas. However, travelling further afield is not out of the question. We pride ourselves on reliability, quality of service and accuracy of reporting.
Jonathan
is a dedicated professional who prides himself on Customer Service. Has run his own business successfully for nearly 10 years and now with an Estate Agency, he is ideally placed to provide the full service. And, with over 25 years Banking based IT and marketing experience Jonathan has a strong business background and a deep understanding of what Customers want in the Housing Market. He is a Brighouse based family man and is well respected within the local community.
“Marsh and Marsh Properties” and “AccuRating”s approach to performing an EPC is to consider the Customer and their needs, for example, we respect a Customer’s home and are totally dependable.”
“Energy Performance Certificates have been given a bad press” says Jonathan “but they are here to stay and I am looking forward to the day when EPCs are recognised as a help and not a hindrance to all those moving house.”
John
is also a Brighouse based family man. His 30 years experience in Local Government and Utilities have made his transition to this relatively new role quite smooth. He has surveyed many properties over the years, but only recently with a view specifically aimed at energy efficiency. His commitment and attention to detail is ideally suited to this type of work.
“Modern day energy consuming products all have an energy efficiency rating so it seems quite logical to extend this to the most expensive thing we will ever buy.” says John
“The specially created software used for EPCs is standard throughout the country - so it enables the house buyer to compare property energy efficiencies against one another. The accurate rating of energy efficiency is the way forward for today’s discerning home buyer.”
